Wise has demonstrated the capacity and ability to deliver on custom built technology solutions for the mental health sector.

1. Establish and launch a non-government software company that provides smart solutions for other health and wellbeing providers.

For more than 20 years, Wise Information Services has been developing systems that support the work of the Wise Group. When the Ministry of Health announced the introduction of new reporting requirements on 1 July 2008, we realised there were many other organisations who would find our solutions helpful. The Group created a software company called Wild Bamboo to bring these tools to market and to invest in continual product development. The launch also included the Group's communication team which managed the brand and website development. Today, Wild Bamboo's experienced team includes professional software developers, business analysts, project managers, testers, trainers, and sales and support.

2. Develop a smart and affordable information management system for the non-government, community sector.

Recordbase is a one-stop solution developed by Wild Bamboo for managing and reporting client information. With Recordbase, service providers can work anywhere, anytime via web-based software. Providers can customise almost every field to their preferred language and turn off fields that aren't required. Additional modules can be added to provide more functions, including supported employment, elite reporting and service user managed areas. Since its launch, more than 3000 people now use Recordbase, primarily in New Zealand, but increasingly in Australia and the United Kingdom.
