Sustainable Future
For us sustainability is the holistic integration of social responsibility, economic growth and environmental ethics.
Our dream is creating fresh possibilities and services for the wellbeing of people, organisations and communities.
We see wellbeing as a positive, sustainable state in which people can flourish. It’s about social equity and contributing towards making the world a better place.
This means contributing to a future that is socially just and environmentally sustainable.
We are activists for change towards a more inclusive society. We work to inspire the future and create solutions with government, non-government organisations and communities. As a major non-government organisation we influence others towards sustainability.
Economic independence and profitability are essential for us to fulfill our dream of creating fresh possibilities. We believe everyone in the organisation has a part to play. Through lean thinking and the power of ideas we will create enduring value for people and the planet.
Environmental responsibility means being authentic. We’ve built Kakariki House, the Waikato region’s first certified green building, as a catalyst for our environmental sustainability aspirations. We know it’s just the start. We’re committed to re-imagining and continually refining our business practices to help us live sustainably.
Sustainability won’t just happen. It’s a belief, an attitude, a journey of social responsibility and we know that together everything is possible. Everyone can do something.
